Food for Morgan County was awarded $950 to continue their goal to go green. These funds will be used to purchase energy efficient freezers for the distribution room. Currently 8 freezers need replacing. During building remodeling of our building items were purchased to reduce utilities and to assist in building a commitment to aid in a sustainable earth for future generations. These items include an on demand water heater and efficient LED bulbs.
Food for Morgan County values everyone in the Morgan County and the surrounding areas. We strive hard provide food for the Morgan County residents in need.
We are a "Choice Pantry" where our guest are able to shop for items in our distribution room for products they will utilize in planning their meals. By enabling our guest to choose their food supplies it helps reduce the amount of waste that is often associated with food pantries.
F4MC works in connection with the Food Bank of Central and Northeastern Missouri.
Food for Morgan County has four distributions each month along with one produce distribution. The distribution days vary depending on the week of the month. For distribution dates CLICK HERE. Due to inclement weather, the distribution may be postponed until a further date. For postponed distribution dates CLICK HERE.
“During my service with Food for Morgan County, I have been blessed with the opportunity to provide to a amazing community. Food for Morgan County, is truly a caring and compassionate organization, that helps lessen many burdens a family may be experiencing. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to volunteer for a organization that truly cares about their volunteers!"
“Food for Morgan County truly is a blessing to my household. The food obtained from the pantry helps us get through the rest of the month, and always have a meal. The food received also helps make a dollar go further than it normally would. Senior boxes are also a huge help with nonfood items that are usually expensive to buy. Food for Morgan County is a great service to the community.”
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
